Tricking Out Buzzbaits

Recommended Posts

So I have been havin a lot of success with buzzbaits over lay downs early this summer. And the bite only OT better when I pulled the skirt off and glued on a 5" money minnow. Anyone else have any good tips for getting better bites on buzzbaits

I like the MegaStrike Cavitron right out of the package, no adjustment needed.

I only fish buzz baits in black and white usually. I have three cavitrons in each color, i bend the arm till I get one to run straight on, one to run to the left and one to run to the right. That way I can cast out among any cover. I'll bump them against logs and rock walls, seems to draw alot of strikes.

Black on black 3/8 cavitron, the only adjustments I have to do is bending it back into shape after all the fish that slam that thing :eyebrows:
