I'll be launching out of Ladd's Wednesday for some fishing and was wondering where some good spots are to hit. I usually launch from Lazy M and fish Italian slough, etc.. I can't travel all that far since I only have a 60hp so closer the better!

Nothing wrong with driving down a bank and picking a spot that looks "bassy" and going to work. Sounds like you have some good launch points to do that and you won't be limited by finding good water. Another way to learn the delta is to join a bass club and gain some experience in time for the spring. Merry Christmas and good fishing in 2013. JB
