1989 Ranger 370V

Featured Replies

Hey looking for some input from some folks that may have fished out of one of theese boats before. Going to look to buy my first bass boat tommorow. Its an 18ftr with a 150hp evinrude. Its in near mint condition. Hasnt been used a whole lot by the looks of it. Id love to go out and spend $60,000 on a bass boat but i aint got it like that. lol. If anyone used one any pros or cons would be appreciated before i take the plunge. Oh. Anyone know off hand if the trailer is a 2in ball?

Make sure to take the boat to a qualified mechanic and have the engine checked out as well as the entire hull! Should be a 2 in ball

Yup, bringing my old man. The joy of having a father who spent 20 years as a Mercury Outboard Mech nic :)

I have had 2 370's and a 373 (same boat with dual consoles). They are great boats, smooth ride, good storage, and rock solid. The only draw backs to a 370 is the small rod locker and smallish front deck but you can buy or make a drop in extension to solve the problem. If it's the original trailer it's a 2" ball.
