Soo im in upstae ny and ive been struggling finding the bigger fish in this private pond i go to turnoveris done now... should i be looking for these fish in the deeper part of pond>? its about a 3 acre pond.. about 3' vis.. the pond has alot of vegitions such at cattails in the water should i be looking for the bass deep in the cattails or i am watching my time.. ive treid buring a spinner on some flats.. im having trouble finding a pattern any tips?

3 acres is a fairly small size. pending you have good access you could be able to work it fairly quick especially in a boat. i would start shallow first and run spinnerbaits or texas rig the shoreline. if that doesn't work i would fish deeper with cranks texas rigs and spinnerbaits as well.

PS do not overlook topwater up shallow. this is a good time of year to be throwing them

I start with topwater, then go to cranks and jerkbaits, then if i still cant find them i go dropshot.
