well.....I found the first one of those d*** stinkbugs in my house today. Another month and they'll be everywhere. Got any horror stories to share?

Oh my god, I freaking hate those things!  I don't know where they're getting in but once it warms up, there will be like 5 or 6 of those things in my house at any given time.  I had one buzzing around my living room the other night while I was spooling up my new reel.  Stupid thing wouldn't land.  It just kept bouncing off the light bulbs in my ceiling fan.  Plus they always land all over the screen on my back door and I have to flick them all off from the inside before I let my dog out.  Bugs are the thing I hate most about spring and summer but like Rooster said, it means its almost fishing time.

Can you post a pic of the "stink bug"? I wanna see if they're the same as be have.

I see a number of Stink Bugs, as I spend a lot of time outside with a camera. However, I had no idea they were house pests. There are numerous species in a variety of colors, but they all have that same body shape.

i hate those things with a passion. its like a few years ago they just showed up in mass numbers out of nowhere in the mid-atlantic area of the country. when i lived in northern virginia a couple years ago in an older farm house, them things were everywhere at times. lining the corners in the ceilings of the house. dive bombing my head. and then you go to grab something and theres a stink bug on it that you crush and set that horrid smell free and its hard to wash off. and i would cover my drinks with a napkin or something because they will just fly and fall right in it and ruin it. theyre very clumsy bugs too

x2....nothing worse than picking up your drink and finding a stinkbug in it.

Oddly enough, I have never smelled the stinkbug smell.  And Ive crushed more than my fair share of them.  I dunno.  Maybe I just have a really poor sense of smell.  In this case, I guess that makes me lucky.

I always know Spring is here when my wife comes running out of the shower because there is a stink bug in there. For some reason they really like to lounge in my bath tub.

They are very much an invasive species, Id say I have caught about 10 of them in the last week or so. I could do without them as well.
