I Had bought a Berkley M for my Pro Max and I just love these rods for some reason, not sure you can beat them for the 40 $ price tag on them in retail stores ( sure you could get em cheaper online ). Gonna get DVT to make me a couple of custom rods though. (IF anyone has an personal experience with DVT custom rods please give me feed back here or in personal message )

Mike built a 6' MH casting rod for Senkos for me a couple years ago.  Actually it was a Christmas present for my daughter.  It had to be pink, short and I couldn't afford one of Avid's pink rods.  Not even sure if Avid makes a pink rod that short in that power.  Was surprised that I could have a custom rod built at a price I could afford.

Mike is a good guy to work with.  I'm sure just about any custom rod builder would be, or they would be a little short in the customer department.  :teeth3:

Call Mike and talk to him.  He can build a rod to about any price point within reason.  If you aren't sure exactly what you need, he can help you with that decision as well.

I should have had him build another rod or two for me considering how much I have spent on rods this past year, but the used market has taken most of my money.  Mike is good, but I doubt he could build new for what I have paid used, or on closeout.  If I were someone who had to have new, then Mike would be a goto guy.  I did buy 2 custom built rods (not from builder, tho, nor built by Mike) over the winter, but I got them for less than half what they cost to be built.  Sorry Mike!  Us poor boys gotta take the deals where we find them.  No reflection on you or your work.  :teeth3:
