What are the advantages of using a wide gap worm hook?  What are the advantages of using a round bend worm hook?

wide gap is good for thick baits( flukes,toads,) round bend is better for skinny worms and smaller stuff !

In what category is the zoom mag II?  Do you need wide gap for it or just the round bend?  How about the senkos? Kut-tails?

The Zoom Mag worm is not too thick of a worm.I use the round bend on mine, I use a 5/0 hook. You could use a wide gap, I don't think it would be a big deal on that worm!
