Why Do They Do That!!

I am checking out Memorial day sales, and most sites have so many exclusions, it almost seems the sale applies to anything, except anything you want. FRUSTRATING!!!

Classic bait and switch.  They lure you into the store/site with you thinking your gonna get some great deals on great stuff and then you see the good stuff that you want isn't the stuff on sale.  But your already there so they know your most likely gonna end up buying something anyway.  They don't care about saving you money.  They care about making as much money as they can and maybe getting rid of some of the crap they're having trouble selling.  That's more than likely why its on sale.

Some retailers put their old merchandise on sale.

Others purchase items to put on sale.

There are some good deals out there and on the Internet.

You just got to mine them via the newspaper, TV, radio, print advertisements and the Internet.

Guys and gals on this site can alert you to sales, too, such as Tackle Warehouse and Academy Sports plus our own sponsors.

Always take advantage of MegaStrike, JJ's Magic, Rage Tail, Northstar Baits and others who support the Forum.

Another thing they like to do is=put something on sale but they only one or two of the sale items in stock ,just to get you into the store!!!!!

Sometimes they can't advertise a discount because of the agreement they have with a manufacturer, but you can call and get the discount.

I got some killer deals on AmericanLegacyFishing.com. Everything was on sale, including Shimano gear.
