First time out today with the Space monkey. I fished it on a 5/0 wide gap gammy hook and added a twistlock to the hook. I've fished the craws pretty frequently for the past month. Today they destroyed they monkey. Love the action also seemed to hold up a little better than the craw. Another great rage tail bait!

It's extremely versatile.  You can fish it:

- to imitate a frog - both above and below water

- like a larger brush hog

- as a craw jig trailer

- as a creature bait

Just to name a few.

Ya I'm definitely excited to try a few different applications with it. I did use it early in the morning as a top water and it worked well there also. If the rest of the rage line performs as well as the monkey and craw all my other plastic may be going out at the next yard sale hahaha!

Glad you like'em MMan and pls. notice that Micro is often rigging the Monkey on a weighted hook. This is one of the best rigs ever for subsurface shallow grass and will work on most all high action Softies, and possibly some you're talking about getting rid of...so keep'em around friend, you'll find a use for'em in time Just let the bait fall and settle, then ease it forward a foot or so at a time by slowly lifting your rod tip, maintaining constant contact with the grass...Slow, Slow.

This is one of my favorite ways to rig the 7" and 10" Anacondas

They won't bury in the grass this way but you'll most likely bury it in a big fish's mouth this way

Terrible bait.  Especially with a 5/0 Owner Twist Lock hook and 5/16 pegged bullet sinker on flourocarbon pitched around lilly pad edges.  Capitol L for looser.
