Any Experience With Either Reel?

Featured Replies

I am looking to buy a new reel and not wanting to spend a lot of money on this one. I will mostly be using this reel for flipping & pitching. the 2 I am looking at right now are the Daiwa Aird or Quantum Centex. any input on either reel would be great!

My advice, save 20-30 bucks more and buy a BPS brand reel.  - BPS Pro Qualifier when it is on sale for 79.99 or BPS Bionic Reel..save the headache.  I only heard of the Aird and I wouldn't recommend it..as for Quantum I would never recommend anything below a Quantum Energy PT.

Just checked, you can get a BPS Bionic Plus Reel for 59.99 right now on sale.

Save a few more pennies and buy a lews speed spool off ebay. Couple on there now for $80 (the black one, not the laser mg)

I second what Kevin and Imb said. Put out a little more money for a Lews Speed Spool or BPS PQ. You can find them on sale for around 80 or used for as low as 50.
