my name is Joshua, I'm 27. I live in S.E. OKC and I have 2 young boys ( 10 months and 2.5 years old ) happily married to my high school honey. I've been fishing every since I've been big enough to hold a pole and wind in the little plastic fish ( and I'm raising my boys the same way) I was big on bass fishing in high school and after high school I got in to crappie fishing bought a boat and 2 weeks after buying my boat found out my wife was pregnant with my 1st baby and when I found out my wife was pregnant with my 2nd baby I sold it :cry4:  and after that kind of lost interest in fishing for a year or so but now I'm getting back in to bass fishing when I get the chance to get away and I enjoy ever moment of it I prefer a fishing buddy but don't mind going by my self. I also enjoy pouring my own lead jigs and tackle

been lurking around the website for about a month now so I finally decided to make an account. also a member of crappie.com and okshooters.com my user name there is crappie josh

    welcome Joshua,  I am a new member also, and intend to do an intro as well.  Funny you mention about your sons, and wanting them to have the same interest as you.  I wished the same for my son, but unfortunately I think there is something more inherently native about the passion regarding fishing, and it doesnt seem to be the same in my son as it was and is in me.  Oh well,  we find other common interests! Also,  looks like you have another thing in common with me, as in "shooter". I am a bird hunter here in NY..

     

    So, nice to meet you, have fun fishing.....and hoping your sons have it in 'em!

    Welcome! I work in OKC and live in Edmond! Not the best LM fishing around here, but you can occasionally find a few nice ones. I haven't broken 5 pounds here yet, but one day.

    Where abouts do you fish? Thank god for all the rain, every watering hole in this state is above normal!
