I was trying to figure out a simple way to pre-rig an Alabama Rig and put it in a Plano or on a rod/reel.  I tried several approaches and I think this one is the best.  Velcro cable ties can be found at Wally World, Staples etc.  They can be reused very easily.

I use a zip tie. Wrap it the same way. Your way is reusable and I like it.

For $5 you can get the Velcro Cable Ties in home depot and put them in any plano you already own.  Not to mention you can keep the velcro cable tie on the rig, tie the rig on your rod and then simply remove the velcro tie when you are ready to fish it.
