Gander Mountain Spinning "advantage" Rods ?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the Gander Mountain Advantage Spinning Rods ?

They are made in China (surprise), and are of  IM6

Particularly the 7'  two piece Medium Light one.  Or on any other ones.

They are Very cheap; about $ 24, but seemto be nicely finished with decent Cork and Aluminum-Oxide Guides.

Thanks,

B.

I have the 6' MH spinning rods. I really like mine. They are pretty light and sensitive. I am sure that there are better rods out there, but for the price I am very satisfied. I've pulled in several nice bass and some 10lb catfish on mine. And they've held up!
