I always see post about new crank baits, poppers, frogs, worms, etc.......  but never anything about terminal tackle!  What is must have go to terminal tackle that you always keep with you?  For me its, twist lock flippin hooks, pre made carolina rig, and a vareity pack of sinkers.

I NEED those things or I dont feel comfortable.

Aside from the obvious hooks, sinkers, swivels, etc. I keep an assortment of split rings, pliers, replacement blades and skirts, hitch hikers, Carolina Keepers, soft plastic lure dye, colors of Sharpies and a first aid kit including a hook remover.

 I keep terminal tackle in one of the compartments of each Plano box.

So, each box is "fully contained". I have three boxes with soft plastics

ready to go in my Plano 3600 soft tackle bag.

 

In my "terminal tackle" box. Hooks, weights, Carolina Keepers, Fish Sticks Attractant, braid scissors, and clippers.

For me, EWG  hooks (both superline and reg. wire), tungsten bullet sinkers, a barrel swivel, and bobber stops. You can pretty much do anything with those items, even drop shot if you slide a bullet sinker on your "drop tag" and tie the swivel at the bottom to keep it from slipping off, with a bobber stop between the swivel and sinker to proctect the knot, and one above the sinker to hold it in place.

I got my gama trailer hooks yesterday. neat thing was that they come packaged with clear tubing that you can cut to keep the trailer in place. I just watched a video tip on doing just that last week.

I agree with ww2farmer,  this covers it.

 

I'll add on by saying that if you're not using tungsten, you're missing out.   Also by adding some Boss Skirt Hubs & Extra Skirts you really open up your rigging possibilities.

I think I try to have hooks & weights & stuff for whatever fishing situation I might run into, plus some stuff for when fishing is bad and I decide to experiment with other different stuff.  

 

Just off the top of my head, here is an incomplete list of what is in my step bin and the bottom of the big bin in my boat"

 

Worm weights - mojo weights - Florida style peg weights - internal tube weights - stick on weights - various sizes nail weights - various sizes of stainless & brass screws ( used to weight wacky worms & Ikas)

Tx rig hooks - drop shot hooks- wacky rig hooks - bubba drop shot hooks (rig & tx rig) - sling blade flutter hooks - swim bait hooks & I know I am forgetting some

 

A couple of boxes of replacement spinner bait skirts - an assortment of split rings & swivels - several spools of fluorocarbon leader material.  O ring tool for wacky rigs.  church key & tool box.

 

That's a partial list, I'm sure I am forgetting something - oh yeah, I've got a good set of zoom binoculars in a waterproof case that is always in the boat.   . … tool box  . . .more stuff

The only thing I can to what has already been listed is Skip Gap style plastics hooks.

I always carry my multi tool (leatherman), a small hand held scale, and in my terminal tackle box: assorted bullet weights, rubber bobber stoppers (good for pegging), Owner hooks (3/0-4/0, organized by size and type), assorted swivels, and extra treble hooks. 

For me it's the same load out whether in the boat, bank, or truck.

Assortment or EWG hooks, and worm hooks. Shakey heads, tube hooks, bullet weights and mojo weights. Carolina keepers, spring lock keepers, nail clippers, needle nose, file and dyes

Not much to add.  In recent years I added o-rings for wacky rigging, home made tiny coffee can lid discs (made from a paper hole punch) with a hole in the center as a "keeper" for t-rigged worms, and jig slings (made by BassTEK), which hold chunks and other plastics in place on jigs.
