As the days get longer and warmer I sit here on my deck looking out on the lake and can not help but to wonder.

 

Is This The Year

 

Is this the year I top my personal best.

Is this the year I find that new honey hole.

Is this the year I explore a new lake or river.

Is this the year I introduce someone to joy and frustration we call Bass Fishing.

Is this the year I find that new go to bait.

Is this the year I finally have success crank bait fishing.

 

One thing I do know

 

This is another year I will enjoy every moment I have on the water.

This is another year I will enjoy every moment I get to fish with family and friends.

 

I would like to wish all old friends and new friends good luck this year.

Last year was that year for me. After a whole winter of studying bass and techniques, I'm ready to do all of those things over again.
