Red Eye Shad Hooks

Featured Replies

Do any of you guys ever change out the hooks on Strike King's red eye shad lipless crankbaits? If so what do you change to? I have been losing a lot of fish and was wondering this. Thanks for the help.

Mustad KVD 1x Strong 2x Short Triple Grip Treble Hook -

Really Good Treble - also you can plus size with these hooks.

I honestly like them. I tend to hang then up on submerged wood alot and alot of times I can pull it out and replace the hook rather than breaking off the whole bait...

I also don't have an issue with losing fish with them. I'm bank fishing if that matters

I use either one of these 2 hooks on Redeye Shad.  I go with a size 2 for both hooks.
