thanx logan  :)

I have caught fish on the smaller version of the Mosquito Hawk when they first came out years ago.  Never tried the full sized one.  Let us know if you try it.

I haven't tried these, but I have tried the berkley beast series of soft baits.  I didn't figure at first that it was going to work, with much success.  I casted right over a bed full of female bass, and BAM!  I had a fish on.  I think it mainly depends on how much you can aggitate a fish!  I might have casted the thing 5-10 times?  Same spot, not a hit, then all the sudden it was like an explosion!  I would assume that these might also aggitate a hog, to the point that she would want to remove it from her nest!  I would try it, and see what it does!  If it's for sale, it has probably had professional success, at some point in testing!  It's all dependent on the color, water temps, times of day, water clarity, and weather.  I prefer anything water melon green in the direct light, in a clear water, with a temp of 60-68 degrees, on a clear day.  :)

I used the original version, which was out at least ten years ago. I liked them enough, I had one whole 3700 box full of them. Pretty good bait, rigged weightless, and thrown over weed beds, and even better on a light weight Carolina rig, or split shot rig. Couldn't catch anything with one of these on a t-rig. I'm glad to see them back. I hope the new ones are as good as the old ones were. They better be; I ordered a whole bunch of "em.

Cheers,

GK

i like to use them for pitching into heavy cover because the wings just flap like crazy.  going to try them on a c-rig this year too, and possible weightless around weed beds.
