Here's a few from the past few weekends! Got my pb smallie for at least fir length, didn't get a weight on her, but she was a tank even though spawned out! And a nice largemouth 100yards away the following weekend. 19" and 20.25" respectively. Big shoutout to @roadwarrior for helping me out!! Both fish on jigs!

So who's PB is it!? Family PB!

Yup we'll say it's a family PB. She catches enough big ones by only using a Senko so she can share this one. LOL

The weather has been hot here the past 2 days into the mid 90s with clear blue skies. Not sure why but that means the lipless catches fire and the bass here love it. I've gotten 19 the past 2 days almost all 2-4lbs and lost about 9 more all on the lipless.

Good job man, It show 90 in my car when came back from kayak at 10:00

today. Didn't catch a thing and missing A bite from Fluke. Gotta try lipless crank for sure. Too bad I only have a few and tried in once this year.

Happy Fathers Day! Went out for breakfast with my son and then some fishing time. Back to the pond where I got poison oak. I kept far from the vegetation.

It's worth a shot. I really only get into them good on the lipless here at laguna niguel regional park, although I see on instagram that people get em at canyon lake with it. Looks like the temps aren't going anywhere, guess it's summer for real now.

Went out on Saturday morning for the first day of bass season here in PA. My partner started out hot in the morning throwing a 7" MS Slammer. He caught a 3-4 and a 4-9 in the first 15 minutes. I caught all my fish on a frog and flipping.

First day of bass season? For me in heat SoCal I think my bass season is on halt for at least 3 months until fall ?

Our bass goes out of season on the opening day of trout season (second Saturday of April), and then doesn't come back in until the third Saturday of June.

The fish commission says it's so the bass can spawn successfully, but it's really because all they care about is trout season and forcing guys to buy a $5 trout stamp on top of their standard license.

That's suck, I don't think we have to buy stamp for trout or any other freshwater fish beside saltwater or second rod.

My friend just went up north in sierra 2-3 weeks ago (trout season started in May, I believe) and got me a few frozen trouts.

summer time always a bad time for me to catch any bass. I'm still struggling fishing deep water in my Jon boat, let alone kayak. I take my boat out less than 10 times a year. I don't know how to read cover, let alone structure. I might have to go back to lake Perris and hire professional guide to teach me these things.

Judging by some of the pictures you've been posting, youre doing better than you think !.

But I know what you mean.Deep water's been a struggle for me too , not that we have comparatively much of it here in FL.

Here in Jersey its year round, theres only a couple of months where it's C&R only which is during the spawn.

The only size of note on this little bass is the scar across his belly. I'm impressed that a wound that big didn't kill the little feller.

[June 19, 2017]

(Monday)

-----Conditions-----
Time: 8:00am - 2:30pm
Sky:  Clear to Partly Cloudy.
Wind: Slight Wind from the North
Water Temps: 54-64F

Headed out with a friend from work and his son. I managed to catch 6 bass, I believe he caught around 8, with one being a nice 2 lb 12 oz - 17" Largemouth, and another being a nice 2 lb+ Smallmouth. It was a great day... we both caught numbers & size even though we had to cut the day short at 2:30pm.
