I currently have a Lews Tournament MG that is paired with my St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rod.

I just got a new Lews Tournament Pro, but it does not seem to pair well with the mojo bass.

I want a rod that has a nice taper with a soft fast tip instead of being too tip heavy.

I have been looking at the St. Croix Tournament Legend Bass Casting Rod and the *** Black *** Casting Rod.

Have you used these rods, what are your opinions on these rods?

I know that they are in totally different price ranges,

but I have heard that the sensitivity of these rods are superb.

Which rod should I buy?

I think the LTB would be a fantastic pairing and the 13 *** series would be a better comparison than the *** imo, but what are you trying to do with the rod?  What bait presentations do you want to use it for?  That'll be the deciding factor of which .  Your mojo (assuming this is a high 6's M?) is already a bit more moderate and would be a good cranking rod so if it was me, I'd probably pick up  the fastest taper I could find for my next one- either a very fast, light and sensitive rod to cover the finesse end of things OR a heavier set for frogs, and jigs- depending on what matches your ambitions and your locale conditions.

The majority of my applications, not my crankbait rod, not my topwater rod, not my frog/swimbait/flippin/pitchin rod.

I'm using it for light Texas rigs, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, senkos, light swimbaits, lipless cranks.

Also It definitely is gonna be another 7' or 7'1" MH like my mojo bass.

I'd probably go with the 6'10" or 7'1" M or MH *** Black casting rod.  The LTBs are very nice rods but I really love the *** series.  

The 13 Black *** would be my best bet for you, get the medium action and the tip will be perfect for what you explained

I know it's not in the 2 brands you have listed, but Falcon makes a nice 7'MH in the Bucco series.  Light, and has a mod fast action and is sensitive. Would work well for the application you're looking for.  But I do have one of the Black Omens, and the 7'6"MH is light, but compared to some MH, it's more of a heavy action. 

I have a 7`1 MF *** and use it for everything you listed. It's a great rod.

I have a st croix ltb and it's a much nicer rod, still love my *** though.

LTB rods are great, but to make a fair comparison, maybe try to match the retail prices a little bit closer. If i had to choose one, it would be the LTB.

I think the St. Croix LTB "Spinnerbait; Jig-n-Worm" rod would be the perfect rod for what you are looking for! You won't be disappointed.
