Hello From Nashville

Featured Replies

Hello Folks! My name is Steve and I just started bass fishing about a month ago. My prior fishing experience was a little nighttime catfishing and fishing for rainbows in a small stocked stream below a hatchery. You know the kind of place. People are lined up on the banks, practically shoulder to shoulder, catching tame trout that can clearly see every angler.

I've been lurking around here for a month watching videos and reading articles and threads to learn as much as I can. This week I've been lucky enough to spend a couple of days fishing and the info I've found has helped tremendously, particularly the advice to throw a lipless crankbait when the bass are feeding on shad. I've fallen in love with the things.

Anyway, this is me. I'll be around a lot. I kinda like it here.

Hello Steve and Welcome to BR ~

I've been telling the new folks that they were really going to like it here.

You already do.  Me too.

Glad to have you with us.

Nashville is a great city. We had a blast when we visited and enjoyed the LSU-Vandy football game.

You have a lot to learn and some of the terms and methods will be foreign to you for a while. But you will catch on.

Read the articles in the Fishing Articles section at the top of this page and consider subscribing to Bass Times, Bassmasters Magazine and Bass Anglers Magazine.

And ask your questions. We are here to give you our input.
