Spiderwire Stealth Glo-Vis

Featured Replies

Looking for opinions on Spiderwire Stealth glo-vis from people that have used it. Considering switching several of my setups from power pro super slick to glo-vis but I'd like to hear some honest opinions first

I haven't used that specific type spiderwire but all the ones I tried were horrible, they work good but after not much use it frays horribly all up and down the line and just starts to break down, not just by the lure ethier.

Its decent line but does not last nearly as long as power pro, suffix, etc.. It frays and loses strength quickly and I wouldn't reccomend it... But again haven't used glo-vis it may be better than the other spiderwire braids

I have it in 30lb on 2 reels

It's got a waxy feel to it and the sticker they use to hold the snag end on the spool is super gummy where it absorbed the waxy stuff

After a few days you can't tell the difference between it and PP super 8 green
