Painting Cranks?

Featured Replies

I just got a wild hair the other day to paint some cranks.  My dad gave me a crap load of his tackle that he doesn't use anymore.  Only thing is there are alot of crazy colors.  Is there a certain paint I should use that is non-toxic.  I am planning on painting them white for the most part.  Will model paint work or do I need to find something different.  Thanks for the help.

Model paint will work, spray paint, airbrush, the cheap craft paint in the craft section at wal mart there is a good variety in there, but it really does'nt matter, just long as it has a good hard clear coat on it.

hey do you know where i can get a cheap air brush?

Hobby lobby has a great sale when restocking, BUT, i do not know. the best thing i can tell you is to read the other posts. This question has come up several times.
