Trying new things with pouring

Featured Replies

Experimented with some laminates and made some more worms with my new Frog, Senko, and Finesse Worm type molds. Some combos came out better than others. I will sure put some use into these this spring/summer/fall.

Tried to laminate finesse worms, they didn't come out like the laminates you can buy from stores, but they will hopefully work:

another favorite...Pumpkin finesse worms, and senkos:

I will be sure to make more, and hopefully with some experience become better with making laminates...

What do yall think?

Great start to pouring multi colors..

it takes a lot of practice..

keep working at it ,

they will get better & better..

and even the one you thought were not as good as you wanted..

the fish are not to picky on your laminate quality.

they will catch fish.. if you present them rite..

Isn't that the truth! I can pour a craw chunk real well now but my little 3" drop shot minnow sucks tp pour!

;D

yah,,,

I got it down fairly well,,

but, still need practice myself..

if I loose focus during a thin line area

well , you know. ;)

If I am all by my self I do much better,,

if some says something during a pour

well.. ya know.. :)

lol yeah I agree. I am also trying out different combinations of lure color and glitter color.

And you are right, it doesn't matter how it looks as long as a bass likes it. Good thing about pouring plastics: If I am not satisfied, I can always remelt them and pour em again!

Thanks guys!

Just a something I started doing with my finesse worms. Pour the head half way, drop a 1 inch piece of a nail in, pour over it and finish the rest of the worm. You will have the deadliest wacky-rig bait in history. You might get bored catching fish. 8-)

Yeah a finishing nail. My best friend and fellow bass fishing competitor Randy Beasley does so with his ZOOM Finesse Worms. I am unsure my dad will be willing to donate his finishing nails for me to fish with lol!  :) ;D ;)

But I agree  :)
