Hello,

  I thought my first post should be me introducing myself. Well I'm a 29 year old male who currently lives in Long Island, NY. I don't have that much experience fishing except when I was in my early teens fishing in Lake Havasu, AZ with my Grandfather. I decided to get back into fishing with about a year ago with a 20 dollar bass pole I picked up in a local bate and tackle shop. I don't catch very much, probably because I am not that good at it. I have a 2 year old daughter and my fishing buddy is my 4 year old son. He really likes fishing with his little Iron Man fishing pole and cant actually cast pretty well, he's only hooked me once or twice. We usually fish 2 local ponds so far that are supposedly stock with trout and you might catch some blue gills, pickerel, and maybe some bass if your lucky. This really isn't the type of fishing I have done before, in AZ we would fish off a pontoon boat and here its mostly shore fishing unless I hop on a charter boat. Recently I was gifted a Abu Garcia bait cast reel which will be my first Bait caster, that should be fun. well anything else you wanna know just ask and I hope to hear from you.
