As a gift I just got a Paasche dual action paint brush. I have used a paasche single action b4 and I feel that it has more controll. I was using createx today for the first time, and I am having a hard time doing fine detail such as lines, stripes, dots, and meshing! What are the pros/cons of a dual action vs a single action? Also on the single action I used laquer paint!

dual action airbrushes are more precise and provide the user more control while spraying. also, since the paint and air mix internally, it atomizes the paint finer, and sprays a softer pattern.

i'm not sure but i don't think you can adjust the paint flow of a single action brush while spraying, and if you did this would require both hands.

do do details and such try turning your air pressure way down (just below 10 psi) and putting the tip of the brush right up against your work surface and not pulling the trigger back very far.
