Wtt/wtb: Looking For A Swimbait

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

I'm looking for a swimbait in the 3/4oz to 1oz range.  I'm not looking to spend a lot as this first one will be an experiment.  It may get above the weeds in the lake; then again, it might not.

My preferred color would be something along the lines of a bluegill or pumpkinseed, with chartreuse second.  I hit eBay but really don't know what I'm looking at.

I have a lot of hard baits I don't use and trading them would be my first choice.  However, I can also PayPal you money.

Thank you, gents.

Regards,

Josh

I'd start with a 9" MS Slammer single joint. They are offered in every color under the rainbow just about. I have one of those tied on every time I go out.

It's more than twice the OP's max desired lure weight though. A mini slammer would be just a touch above and is a good bait.

Spro is coming out with 2 smaller sizes in their rat bait that would fit into your description, but they won't be out until late this year. A Jackall Mickey in Sunfish color or Spro BBZ Shad floater or slow sink in Wicked Perch or Killer Gill might be right up your alley though.

I have a 4 inch spro bbz1 shad slow sink in natural shad, mattlure sink bluegill boot tail, and one shell cracker g2 in bluegill color if interested. Looking to sell as a package.
