Hi everyone,

My name is Justin and I am new here to the forum. I'm actually relatively new to bass fishing as well. I'm excited to be on the forum so I can advance my knowledge and skill with angling.

My girlfriend and I recently moved here to New Jersey from Boston for work, and when I'm not traveling for work, I like to golf and fish. I don't know ANYONE or ANY THING about this whole Bergen county area and not many people seem to want to help a newcomer out.

I know it's also not peak bass season, but I just recently picked up my first baitcaster (Abu Garcia Vengeance combo) and I have yet to use it other than perfecting my casts in the back yard lol.

Hopefully y'all will be a bit nicer and inform me of some cool fishing spots (I don't have a boat here so shore only please!) in the Paramus (all of Bergen county and them some)!

I look forward to learning from you all!!

    Hey Justin...Just joined myself and I grew up in the same area your are in now. One place we fished quite a bit was Lake Hopatcong, about 1 1/2 hours from you. Also try Round Valley Reservoir.. Hope you find some great fishing!!!
