Lake Mead guide

Featured Replies

I will be in Las Vegas next month for work and might be interested in fishing Lake Mead for smallmouth or largemouth.  Any recommendations for a guide?

Isn't Lake Meade really clear?

If so, what are your thoughts on your baits?

Over on the east coast we would throw a glimmer blue Zoom plastic worm Texas or wacky rigged.

What say you?

Make sure you inquire about a largemouth/smallmouth bass guide, most Mead guide services prefer stripe bass fishing for thier clients.

Check with the BPS store in Vegas for suggestions. There will be lots of bass tournaments during the time you there, so it's difficult to suggest a well known local pro.

Mark Edison is supposedly the best guide in the area.
