I'm from northwest Ohio and last year I tried crappie fishing but only things that seemed to work were small rooster tail spinners white worked the best and then small spinnerbaits. What are your favorite or best crappie lures you use

    Get yourself a handful of 1/16 oz. ball head jigs and either some 2" curly tailed grubs, or the Bobby Garland Baby Shads (a straight tailed plastic). Cast out.....count down.....retrieve slowly. You'll get bit.

    1/16 ounce rooster tails, and 2" swim baits are what I usually use.
