Thats a female bullfrog in your picture.

On the males, the ear drums are larger than the eyes. Also males have a yellow throat.

Males usually dont have the spotted patterns either. They normally have a green head with a brown/greenish back.

That’s why I took the pic, I didn't think anyone would believe me otherwise.

Catching a little bit of everything this last week in the high water. The crappie and walleye pictures aren't great, my buddy had them out of the livewell and filleted before I knew what happened. We kept 5 crappie 12.5-13.5 inches and 1 19.5" walleye for his family to have for dinner, which I'm guessing from the thank you texts I was getting they thoroughly enjoyed.

Biggest bite I've ever had flipping flooded grass. Got a good video of it coming too. Heavy rod, braid, and short line made it interesting.

Caught 2 of these guys, both big like this one. Managed to get a Rage bug and 5/0 straight shank hook in his mouth. I'm going to screw around and break the state record one of these days.

Must be because of all the high water.  This guy hit a 1/2 oz chatterbait.

Went trolling for toothy critters and the water was too high and fast. Or so I thought........... 60 degree surface temp and rolling like crazy, I can’t believe I caught this sauger in the first 10 minutes. Must have been my hound that sniffed it out

The panfish were extremely active on Table Rock this past weekend. I didn't catch many, but man were they pecking at anything I dropped down. I did managed a nice Goggle eye and a very greedy longear sunfish though.

Crappie plopper...decent crappie hit a 110 WP. Wasn't much of a fight on a heavy casting rod.

Went walleye fishing with my folks last Thursday in the Warrior.  We fished the mud flats with lindy rigs and leeches for about 6 hours and landed 34 walleyes, with 11 being over 24 inches.  Biggest one was a 27 1/4 incher my Mother caught.  Easy to catch right now.  Just head to deep water and drag around some live bait and you'll get bit.  They were all released fully alive back to the deep.
