Just wondering if anyone else has tried these out. I love them only hook i use for drop shot. I have been using them for years with great succes but there hard to find in stores.  Ive only been able to order them online.  Whats other hooks do you use ?

I use them a lot when fishing minnow type baits on a drop shot.

I saw those for the first time at Glory Hole Sports last year and got a couple of packs but have not yet used them.  Really liked how it kept the hook vertical in place with that extra extension instead of relying on the loop-back on the palomar.

I used them when they first came out about 5  or 6 years ago. Didn't like them, because the point of the hook was/is "beaked" or curbed inwards. I found that this drove the point of the hook in and back out of the inside of the mouth, making it easier for a fish to throw the hook on the jump. The StandOuts you show here have a straight point, which is totally unlike any in my cabinets. Maybe they got enough complaints and made a correction, I'm not sure, but that was the only experience I had with them. I
