Megabass s-crank

Featured Replies

I bought one at dicks today, then when I got home I realized no "made in Japan" marked on it anywhere, where are these things made? I'd be upset if it was anywhere but Japan for $18

Can't help you on where its made, but it was my best producing squarebill last year - that's all I care about.  They catch fish!  Good luck on them.

They look great, but I feel like they are gouging hardcore if it's made in some 3rd world location.

No matter where they're made most of these hardbaits are just molded plastic and probably cost no more than 40 cents to make.

They were specially hand made by a guy who lives in a van down by the river.

Hopefully he knows what he's doing, cause I'm gonna be chunking it this weekend.

There's a little sticker on the bottom of the package.  It's a great bait though, I don't care where it's made.  Megabass has dropped the prices on some of their baits, this one included.  I'm sure that's part of it.

Thanks all for the replys, i saw them on there and I wanted to buy 1 to see if I liked it before ordering a few sizes colors. But I was highly suprised when I saw no jap made mark, my made in Vietnam sticker must have fell off.

Youd be amazed where a lot of premium baits are sourced from.

Just buy the lure based on its own merits.  Who cares if you can't read the box, you throw it out before you even use the thing haha

First thing I do is rip the price tag off and pretend I don't blow my whole check on baits. I try to forget how much it costs
