Hodges Marine?

Featured Replies

Just wanted to see if anyone has done business with Hodges Marine. Searching for some fishing electronics, they have the best price by far including shipping. Being cautious consumer, I don't want to get duped by an unscrupulous online retailer.

I've bought a couple of things from them.  A Helix 7 SI and a MK mount for my Terrova.  Both worked out well and the prices were right.  I would have bought a 999 from them but my local Cabelas beat them on price during a sale last year.

I got a humminbird 899 from them, all was fine EXCEPT that my Transducer was not in factory sealed package. I wanted to trade it in for the HD ducer but since it wasn't sealed I couldn't do it. Never said anything and just used the compact si transducer. Just thought I'd chime in.

The transducer does not come in a package, just the mount does.  .

The exchange deal is about not opening the MOUNT package.

Well guess I'm the idiot then.

Bought several pieces of electronics for the new boat last year from them and was very happy with the whole deal. I would certainly consider buying from them again in the future.
