Daiwa Tatula CT Baitcasting Reel with Braided Line

Recommended Posts

Braid is safe on almost all reels.  Notice I said "almost".  Some spools are too delicate for braid, but the maker will tell you not to use braid with the reel.  As long as the maker doesn't tell you not use braid, then it will be safe to use.

Yeah they fixed the old twing system that frays your line.

I have 50lb FX2 braid on mine.  Chucked a frog with it this past weekend for the first time.  Very surprised at how well this reel handles at it's price point.  Effortless casts with next to no fine tuning.
