Garmin Fishfinders/GPS units

Recommended Posts

My brother is looking at used boat that has Garmin units installed in the dash and on the bow.  Neither of us have any experience with anything but Lowrance products.

I was just wondering what people's thoughts were about the Garmin products, and the pros and cons versus Lowrance.

Thanks

In 2002 I bought  a 2002 Ranger That had 2 Garmin 240's & a 176 GPS I would not have traded except for another Garmin.

I now have a garmin 178C on the trolling motor & a 2006C plus a 250C on the console. THese are great units & i would no others.
