I've been using Yo Zuri Hybrid line the past couple of months and I'm impressed by it. I yanked a 3lb chunk out of some heavy weeds on 10lb line with no problems. And the best part is, it's very inexpensive.

Yes sir, I've been using #12 for two years now, It's completly eliminated fluorocarbon as a main line for me. Only other line I use on baitcasters is Big game for top water/treble hook presentations. Yo Zuri for all bottom contact stuff

For me also. I use this and braid for some top water. I might look into some big game to replace braid.

I use it exclusively on my spinning reels now. I had a 3lb14oz chunk wrap herself in vegetation and the 6lb hybrid held on while I could make my way over and fish her out of the slop.

Just spooled a rod with some 8 and caught a couple .Casts good.No breaks.

I agree.  I started using it this spring and have been pleasantly surprised.  I am a braid guy for the most part but this has made me switch a few of my rods to hybrid. 

 

YZH is great line for sure but a bit too stretchy for me.  I'm more of a CXX guy.  Hybrid line rocks.  Gotta love being able to dial your attributes and still not break the bank.  

I switched to YZ 10lb for spinnerbaits and square bills this year and I really like it. Solid product for the price. 

I've been using 6lb.  on my shallow cranking outfit and liked it so much I went with it in 10lb. on my regular cranking outfit.   Haven't really noticed stretch being a factor, but then my prior cranking line was mono. 

I use the 12lb for almost everything. Great Line.

Use braid to YZ all the time...haven't had a problem 

Been using it for years now, excellent line; however,
I recently picked up 3 spools of Gamma Edge FC,
on sale, in 6, 8 and 10# tests. Been *very* impressed
with it's toughness (equal to YZH, IMO), and sensitivity
(greater than YZH). I used it exclusively on our vaca to
Lake Gaston last week.

Used the 6# on dropshot for most everything since
that's what the bass seemed to want. Used 8# on 
my wacky rod, and 10# on my bait casting setup
with a MH rod (jigs, etc.)

Oh, and all tied on as leader to braided mainline.

But it is expensive. For most stuff, YZH is hard to beat.

I used YoZuri for years on all my surf gear, before braid was around. It was a bit stiff at first, but after a few casts or so, it seemed to lose a lot of its memory. What I really liked about it was how well it held up to abrasion. I still use it as leader material.
