WTB: Megabass Pop Max

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any Megabass Pop Max in good - excellent condition that they would be willing to sell? Colors that I would be interested in are: Black Orochi, White Python, Pumpkinseed and Tonosama Frog.

Not trying to be rude or disrespectful but in order to not waste anybody else's time I'm not willing to pay close to what I can buy new for locally...it would make no sense to buy a used bait for only a couple dollars less than I can buy a brand new bait for. If I buy used it has to be worth my while to go in the used direction. Thanks!!!

Also not trying to be rude or disprespectful, but a couple bucks off a $20 lure (plus shipping) would mean you'd be getting it for at least 1/3 off....(or more to the point, that I'd be letting it go for 2/3 of what I paid.)

Why not buy a new one and get the color you want....brand new, sharp hooks and no hook rash?

Trying to find a deal...don't really want to spend $20 on a lure. Also, I did mention "locally" so there wouldn't be any shipping costs so not really a 1/3 off if it's only $2 less.

Certain brands can and will fetch close to retail when used.  Megabass is one of those brands.

Just an FYI.

Must kill the used market for these lures...who would pay almost full price for a used when they could buy NIB for just $2 more?

The only way you're gonna get a discount is to buy a used lot of lures.  No one sells these either, because they're so darn good.  GO to Dick's or F&S, buy $50, use the 10% coupon on $50, and go fish with a proven catcher.

:)

Gotta pay to play in some instances.  If you're that concerned with price then it's probably not be the lure for you.

Yeah, that's why I ordered (and just received) 2 of the River2sea Bubble Walker 80's...look almost identical to the Pop Max and cost only $8 each including shipping.

Being cheap, and wanting MB products, is never going to mix well. ;)

Than I guess I won't be getting any ;). It's not a matter of being cheap, simply a matter of knowing what i can afford on my budget.

$5 for a bag of plastics that won't last you a day, or $20 for a bait that you can catch hundreds of fish on.  This is how I became a crankbait specialist when I was a teenager.  Plastics, hooks, and weights were too expensive to be constantly replacing.  A good plug would last a lifetime.

I've never explained to any woman why I needed a $20 lure. Just like I never question what she spends on things she likes.

you obviously haven't met my wife, where a $80 pair of new shoes is justifiable but a $20 lure is frivolous spending :tsk-tsk:.

You've probably misplaced more high end lures than I've owned in a lifetime, lol.
