I've had cats bite rapalas, cranks, lipless and spinners. They'll bite just about anything.

Bladed jigs are channel cat killers around here. I had a night last summer that produced over 30 channels on a bladed jig. They really hone in on the strong vibration.

This was one of my biggest channels of the year on one of my homemade bladed jigs. I watched it cruise up behind it and eat it at the boat, it was pretty cool.

That's a pretty average sized one around here. Catfish are about the only thing that regularly grows big in Kansas.

I plan to do drifted fishing for catfish this sunday, I might as well bring my bass rod and Chatter Bait along.

I have never gotten a cat on a bladed jig.  I usually catch them on crankbaits.

That's awesome man. Nice fish. What kind of chatterbait are you using and what's the trailer?

It is zman original chatterbait perch/bulgill color with stock trailer.

I actually got two bites on this chatterbait but the last about the same size jumped  and hook came undone. I usually de-brab big bait hook.

I'm definitely starting to like chatterbaits. I've had a good few bites now swimming it as slow as possible. Just enough to make the blade chatter.
