... So far the record is 3 ploppers in 1 day lost by the same client.

Any chance some of the ones you found were from that client?

Nope, not allowed to walk the banks of the lake most of mine are lost on.

I've found a handful of lures from the bank but the best thing I ever found was a Leatherman Wave multitool.

Only found one bait at Table Rock

Next time you're up at Table Rock, if you find this lure around the Aunts Creek area, put it away for me. I lost it several years ago and would like to get it back. It was my goto lure.

I wasn't having much luck out fishing Table Rock at Big Cedar Lodge and flipped a jig under a dock and hooked into a Zebco 33 rod and reel combo. It was a good fight there for a few seconds.... 😉

That's probably the first fish ever that was happy to be caught. Looks like a bad knot?

I hooked the line on a rod and reel a few days ago. I've caught them before, so I know what it feels like. Unfortunately the fisherman that lost this rod didn't tie a decent knot when they spooled the line, because I could feel it easily come loose after I had already reeled in about 50 yards of their line.

I couldn't see any line in the picture, so I assumed it was a bad knot. I guess it was incorrect drag setting or worn line. Whatever it was, I'm sure that fish feels a lot better now.

Is that a flying lure rig?
