Between Saturday and Sunday, which looks like the better day to go and fish?  I'm thinking Saturday since the storm the previous day will have stirred up stuff, so hopefully fish will be feeding and it's got some cloud cover (I believe I've read bass move around more when there's cloud cover than not?) so they'll be more active.

Is my reasoning tracking straight?  Appreciate the help folks. :)

I'm with you weather wise, I'd choose Saturday.

But, I don't really like crowds.  If there is a tourney going Saturday - I may would go Sunday anyway lol.  I love midweek fishing, too bad I have to work in order to be able to afford fishing, lol.

I'd go Saturday too. If I have the choice of two days and one is worse (but safe and tolerable) weather I usually pick that day. It doesn't always turn out great and I've had amazing days during bluebird skies but it generally seems to work.

saturday or saturday & sunday

Friday, before the front moves in.

I would go any or all the days I could....(like being out there!!)

How bad are those thunderstorms going to be Friday?  I hate getting out to a spot and then having to go back to the ramp because of lightning.

Saturday seems the obvious choice and not a mistake,

But I have caught my biggest fish in the rain.

Early Friday and possibly all day.

Thunder stores are quick moving and in the event of a storm, any available dock is a safe zone.

You don't need to head back to the ramp, I have spent many storms sitting on a strangers dock

I would say no worse than average, maybe a little heavy.

As for the dock bit, I'm on the bank as well, so I won't be on the water.
