Stealth charging systems

Recommended Posts

Folks,

While looking at charging systems for the new boat I stumbled upon http://www.stealth1charging.com/

My problem is simple......I will be keeping the new boat on a dock a lot of the time and am looking at charging the batteries via a

Honda generator, so anything that helps gets my attention.

I am looking to power a 24 volume system and a separate battery for electronics and wells.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks Al

Make sure the generator you use puts out a pure sine wave. Some generators and inverters put out a modified sine wave and many electronics don't take too kindly to that.

This is what I have and it is rated for computers so I think it is pure, but will double check.

Man...that's a bummer that you'll have to charge with a generator.  No way to run power to the dock?

Working on it....but may have to start the yr on a generator.

..........but can easily pull the boat if needs be.

That's a big reason for going 36 v TM
