Anyone have any experience with falcon, specifically the HD? I am looking for a budget rod, and I have heard great things about this brand. the hD is only $69.99. worth the buy? 

I found a Jason Christie 6'8" MH casting rod in a Walmart clearance bin for 40 bucks.

It's been my go to rod ever since,Handles jerkbaits,spinnerbaits and squarebills.

I would pay the full retail price of 100 dollars.

No experience with the HD, but I have a couple Originals.  My PB was on a 7' MH.  I think it has decent sensitivity for what you pay.  Falcon went above and beyond when I fell face first into a pile of rocks breaking two 4" pieces off the end of my favorite rod at the time....a 7' Medium Expert.  Told them exactly what happened and they sent me a $200 rod for $80.  The Expert was no longer made so Falcon sent me a comparable action Cara.

Don't know about the hd but the lowrider and bucoo are fantastic rods at their price. The originals were solid too. I would say you can't go wrong with anything that has the falcon name on it but since I've never had an hd I couldn't promise you that.
