  • Hey it floats!  Almost a week and I finally got it out on the water.  I'm following the break-in instructions for the engine, so I couldn't open it up.  I got the first hour out of the way.  I went to

Got my boat today!  Already about to get it opened up to install some gear.  Everything is really accessible and there should be no issues at all.  My dealer gave two tracker shirts to us... Almost ga

I will mount mine on the trailer where there is a bracket/mount.  It is on the right side of the trailer under the drivers seat on the boat.

I don't have mine yet... great will keep this one in mind.....sounds like it already has a place which would be great.

Thanks for the heads up..

I wonder if they were cross threaded? At least you'll get back on the water. Let us know how the fishing was!

After a $1.00 investment in new washers and nyloc nuts the Heritage is back up and ready,

Exactly how I'm wanting to set mine up... been working on the deck extension not had time to look for another Fish finder and frankly was a little overwhelmed when I started to check on what to put on the dash.. do a lot of night fishing need a GPS for sure and a unit to track my travel lines... (Cherokee Lake, TN)     Very Clean set up SB...

Mind if we get a look at how that deck extension is coming? Ill be making one myself soon. Thanks

It comes in 96 inch reams so I ordered five feet extra so that's a pretty good chuck...plenty enough to do the deck extension I want to do. The Tracker parts guy at my local BPS actually had to call Tracker boats to figure out where to find the part number to order but he was more than willing to assist. don't use a regular employee at BPS use the shop parts rep from tracker in the service department.

Do you happen to have the parts number for the carpet?  I would like to order some but want to help my BPS guys as I am sure they will be a little confused.  LOL.

Hello all..............my boat arrived today......it will be ready for pickup Monday......seen it as it came off the truck.  My boat was ordered 2/27 and tracker entered it into their system 3/1.  Got my VIP number so I can exercise the discounts to buy my options....will go do that tomorrow.  Dealer told me that Mercury was out of motors....dont know that one for a fact.  Best of luck to all that have them on order.....mine came in earlier than my best expectations......Still don't understand the system .........just makes no sense to me..Mine came in earlier than the others that was ordered earlier from the same dealer....dealer told me that tracker had a default in their computer system to ship out units with the surge brakes as a priority.....again don't know this as a fact and makes it even harder to understand.... truly hope everyone gets theirs asap and is happy...

That's the electric plug holder. You plug the plug into it when you are done charging.

Nice feature, my pro mariner did not come with that.  Called Tracker, I have a long wait ahead.  May not be in the water till next spring. :(

That is pretty neat and would have been nice for one to come with the promariner 20+ I have.

I just have my charging cable mounted and routed using 3m cable hooks to the top of the hatch door.  When I charge. I can get the cable without opening hatch.  When done, the cable stays put and has yet to get wet or damaged.

Maybe I will look for a "plug" for it, lol.

You can get a plug harness with a cap, and connect the wires to that, after cutting the female receptacle off. I installed my just behind the driver's seat.  Made it convenient to just plug in there instead of fishing for the cord in the battery compartment.

My Coleman is ran on 2 batteries in series.I just plug my charger into the trolling motor plug.

This would also work for the heritage but will only charge the trolling motor battery of course.

I put the same end on the charger as the trolling motor plug.

Not every bass boat out there has a flying saucer launcher like ours!

I thought about getting a plug/cap and installing it somewhere, but since the heritage boat is not enclosed on the rear, it was just too easy to get to the cable.  The way I have my cable and I back my boat up the garage, it is just easy.  No need in adding additional features.

I think all of your solutions are nice.

OK, so I wrote awhile ago about maybe adding some gauges.  Right now from what little time I have on the boat, I decided that I want an hour meter and voltmeter.  I put one of those cheap wrap around the spark plug wire meters first thing when I got the boat, but I have to lift the engine cover to look at it and I figured since there is a matching timer, why not?

I've done some searching and noticed not many people have a voltmeter for their trolling motor.  I'm not sure why, I guess once it's gone it's gone and you can't charge it anyway.  Anyhow, I want to see my TM voltage and my engine voltage, so I put a switch on the meter, down engine voltage, up TM voltage.  I put in fuses for each battery, playing into the fuse theme already on the dash.  In case anyone was wondering, the carbon fiber dash is fake.  It is most definitely plastic :shhhhh:

I had a heck of a time finding a matching disk retainer for the switch.  I went to BPS and they had to look it up, and it was some other brand, not something that Tracker sells.  I found a couple online but with shipping it would have cost me the same as I paid at BPS.  I still have to get some lettering for the switch, but so far so good.  :Captain:

I got the call today! I go pick it up on Thursday. Per the new Tracker phone number it wasn't supposed to be delivered until around the first of June. My dealer said they said they thought it would be in around the second week of May. Either way I am super glad that it is here.

Congrats "D"......I picked  mine up yesterday....putting in an extra gas tank  and new fish finder.  Hope to work on breaking it in today...ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

I have wanted to add gauges from day one.  I have a few designs in my card and really have in the wiring and matching fuel cases.  I just could find games like the ones you have.  I like turn alot.  Can you provide sources or links?

It looks good and stock for sure.  I will get those added when I add larger tank and move batteries around.

I got them from Amazon.  They are the Flagship Plus White Face with Chrome Bezel Family Gauges.  The thing about Amazon is they don't show pictures for the gauges on their site.  You have to know the part numbers.

If you want to see pictures with part numbers, Mercury is a good site:

Still have not recieved gift card. How did you guys get yours?Had boat out for 9th trip yesterday,I don't see fuel tank size being a problem.Usually out 10-12 hours running from spot to spot to fish, and have never used more than 1/2 tank.I would say 2 gallons per hour at cruising speed is about right. You guy's probably fish bigger lakes than me.Trolling motor battery has never showed signs of even getting low,i don't keep it on constant, but use it all day.I don't run outboard over 5600 rpm, don't know what max is.Caught 8 fish last time, nothing under 2lbs.They are finally making they're move here.
