We are just happy to see the Sixers make some noise. It’s just nice for us to be at the dance again. Don’t be surprised by this young run and gun team. We are all  anxiously  awaiting the return of the  phantom of the process. Haha.

Ben Simmons is the best player on this team and I don't even think it is close to be honest.  He makes everyone on the team better.

It will be nice to have Embiid back though

And imagine if you had a superstar in fultz. Scary.

I think Fultz will be a stud.  This team has some super smooth and deceptively quick players in Simmons and Fultz.

Jordan didn't flop a lot. I bet the ratio of Lebron's flops to Jordan's was 5:1

Look at the link. Not to far down you will see the data compiled is based on 15 seasons. When Jordan entered the NBA he had to go through 4 years of college. Lebron went straight from HS. Therefore it would only seem logical Lebron got an earlier jump on his career by 4 years. Be little Jordan all you want but the stats don't lie.

Jordan played 3 years in college not 4 and what difference does that make? They are comparing 15 seasons.

Jordan was a spectacular talent without doubt. He needed pippen before he could even win a single playoff series and Phil Jackson before he could move on in the playoffs.

Look at the first team Lebron took to the finals...one of the worst teams ever. Mj never could do that. He isn’t a make guys around him better type player. When he retired, the team still won 50+ games. When Lebron is gone, teams are in the lottery.

Good point. Jordan got beat up by the likes of Laimbeer, Anthony Mason, etc. That era of the NBA was smashmouth football rules, no blood no foul. I never saw Jordan complain.

Lebron flops a lot. This is from a player who's supposed to be bigger and stronger than Jordan or Kobe. It would have been fun to see LeBron go up against Laimbeer, Rick Mahorn, Anthony Mason, or Charles Oakley.

If you think MJ never complained than i would say you are probably to young to have watched him play.

Jordan flopped a lot and started the whole preferential treatment for stars and complaining to the refs.

How do you quantify that MJ placed more importance on winning?  One could easily argue that James emphasized that more because of his desire to move teams to tie him the biggest opportunity to win.

I quantify it by Jordan never letting his team lose in the finals. 6-0 is good quantification

Well you said he wasn’t a “make the guys around you better” type player so I wonder if you ever watched him play

I think it comes down to the fact that a lot of people think LeBron is a doosh. Jordan was as well, but in today's world, LeBron has more people seeing his words than Jordan ever did.

I started watching the game during the Magic-Bird era. I'd say you're too young to have watched Jordan play.

To me it just comes down to Jordan being better

Let Jordan play in a league where you can't handcheck or get away with a bodyslam and see the unbelievably gaudy stats he would put up. Put LeBron in the league back then and see if he's as healthy at this age as he is.

Btw until cp3 and the beard prove they can win when it matters most it's the warriors to lose

Oh yea? And just how successful have the Bulls been since Jordan left them. Yep, they have done nothing.

Lebron needed players around him before he could win. Hell, Bird and Magic did as well. No ONE player wins with no one around him. Lebron had two former Olympic players on his team in Miami. Jordan only had one and that was Pippen.

You can spin it all you want but the facts are there in the table I linked. I only noted the difference in # of years playing the NBA because Lebron will finish with more years in the league so things like total, points, rebounds, wins, etc. Jordan didn't have the opportunity to jump from the NBA out of HS.

I am Lebron James fan. You probably don't think that but I have respect for the mans game. IMO he is the best athlete of the modern era and right up there with guys like Bo Jackson or Dion Sanders. Lebron as a NFL TE would be scary and I am guessing he would be flat out dominant. Jordan tried baseball and was never that good. If we are talking pure basketball greatness Jordan is better. If we are talking pure athlete Lebron would be. Jordan did much more with precision, finesse, hang time, and leabping ability with an array of moves. Lebron is a rare combination of size, power, explosiveness and superior passing vision.

Big difference from complaining and flopping. A very large % of players in any sports complain or argue there side of things.

MJ could’ve come straight out from high school I’m pretty sure but he wasn’t good enough and needed the extra college for playing time.

I do think the majority of the vitriol towards Lebron is because of the “decision” and not his play and definitely not his lifestyle.

Same thing really. Difference is they started those rules during MJs time.

So I have to admit....... I haven’t watched a pelicans game all year, only highlights. I’m sitting here watching them now and They are a pretty good team!!! I know a lot of their players from either college or past NBA experience but they are never on tv.

Flopping is done physically and complaining is done verbally. On what planet are they the same thing?

Nothing more to say. If we are talking basketball greatness and accolades MJ > LJ.

Now the real question...if you had to pick between Larry bird and LeBron James in the season where they were both 30 years of age, who do you chose for 1 season plus the playoffs? Lol. Sorry couldn't help myself. I'll take Larry Joe all day. And go Pacers!

of course you do as any good indiana boy should lol

Pacers have their hands full for sure...

Sixers need to win game three or they are going home early.  I don't get why they baby Embiid and the team, and many of the fans, act like this team is some seasoned veteran team that can just turn it on at any time.  They are a few young stars in the making and journeymen types.  Polestera flat out out coached Brown last game and it wasn't even close really.

Cavs might be able to hobble out of this series... Maybe. But they're gonna get whacked in the second round.
