Only have a reel right now, no rod yet, still deciding. My plan is to have a MH rod for everything, then have a MM rod for topwater and treble hook lures. I have a Curado 200K in a 6.2:1 gear ratio but don’t know which rod to put it on. I feel like I’d rather put it on the MH. I’d fish crankbaits down to about 20 feet or a little more/less, depending on the temperature. My rod and reel price is $200 total, which is slightly flexible. Opinions/Recommendations?
