Anyone use this kind of hook and how you rig them?

I'm trying to be Frugal Fisherman by using what I have, and I do have quite a few from over the years that I'd been trying things(some work some never catch fish). I have quite a bit of this sickle hook mostly size #1 (for dropshot Elaztech plastic). I like the bend on hook point where I don't need to skin the worm, but the odd angle on the bend tear up plastic quick. Any opinion?

You rig it the same as any other offset weedless worm hook.

If you have quite a few of them how about you let me buy a few from you and let me try them.

I’m thinking for soft plastics. I’ve never seen a hook like that. If you want to part with a few in 1/0, 2/0 and 3/0 I’ll buy some from you and try them. Not for free, I’ll buy them just to try. Let me know.

Sell them to whomever you can, and then replace them with good hooks

Nope doesn't help much. When fish bite that almost triangle bend tear up plastic. (3" minnow)

BTW It is good for Elaztech plastic since we all know it is hard to skin hook those type of plastic. And it doesn't bend as easy as Gamakatsu #2 EWG hook

Well, that's how you use them.  Maybe it's not that frugal after all.

I guess so. Better to use what work than getting headaches trying to make thing doesn't work, work. I guess time to stock more of #2 EWG hook.
