Open your pictures.  Select a picture you want to save.  When you click on it there will be options at the top and bottom of your image.  Click on "share", then click on email.  Send it to yourself, then save it on your computer.  Be sure that it is saved somewhere convenient for you.

Did you try sending it as an attachment?

You might have a setting that automatically resizes images for emails.   Try googling "resize images for email".  You'll need to find one for Mac or Windows depending on what you are using.  Here's one.

Resizing images for email

Using Free Web Applications

Open the web application of your choice.

Upload your image. You will have to navigate to the image on your computer, and then upload it to the website. Once the upload is complete, the image...

Resize the image.

Set the quality.

Add any other effects.

Download the new copy. Once you've picked all of your settings and effects, click the Download button.
