Anyone fish on their own fish tank?

Recommended Posts

Hi members

After long day of work maybe I am delusional.. but does anyone fish on their own home fish tank?

I was thinking of putting some shiners or minnows in large size tank, and fish whenever I like in my room.

Maybe with tiny ice rod? I guess it could be sort of microfishing?

I use to have all my fishing gear in a run down bait shop on a semi-private lake that I basically grew up on. There was a huge concrete minnow tank that we kept filled up with water that I'd "stock" with green sunfish and bluegills. They doubled as flathead bait but were also easy entertainment on slow days and during the winter.

On advise of counsel, I would like to invoke the rights granted to me by the Constitution....

A friend of mine had an old swimming pool out back and when he'd catch fish in the creek he would sometimes let them go in there. Whenever they wanted some fish quick, he'd go recatch them.

Was always suprised the gators didnt clean em out. They were doing a pretty good job on his goats that roamed down below his house in the swamp.

You laugh... but he came to school in the 6th grade fighting back tears over it ! Within a few months he had shot and killed the 11 and 1/2 footer, the main culprit, and we were eating gator tail for months to come. 😉 That was the year they outlawed gator hunting in florida.

Not a tank, but a hatchery I volunteered at during college would allow me to toss barbless flies in the channel cat raceway.  Amazing how tuned in those fish were to only eating when the feeder turned on.

I also have to consult counsel. One thing I did learn is it takes about two days before a bass will bite again after being caught. I also found it amazing about how aware a bass is to something introduced into it's surroundings.

May be the strangest post I've ever seen here.

Agreed, but reading it has put a huge smile on my face on this crappy Monday. 😄

If it happened in the Philippines leave it rest.
