bassmaster classic question (boat dash)

Featured Replies

I was watching the 2018 Bassmaster classic on youtube.  I noticed that every time one of the anglers would catch a fish, they would hit a button on the dashboard of their boat prior to putting it in the livewell.  What are they doing?  What are those buttons for?  I was first wondering if that was something they communicate with the standings judges, as they go.  But I'm not sure.

Also.  How does each angler know what anyone else is doing?  They seem to know that if they catch an X pounder, that they just pulled in to first place and will win it.  The weights are unofficial at that point.  How do they know where they stand?

Livewell pumps and aerators.

Yes

No need to keep them running when not needed
