Perception Pescador Pro 10 worm storage

Recommended Posts

For those of you that own/owned a Perception Prescador Pro, whether it be the 10ft or 12ft model. I believe the height of the walls inside the kayak are the same, so I will go with that.....

At the location of where the foot pedals are, you have the outer wall that runs parallel to your legs/feet. On my kayak, that height from floor to top is about 4" high. I really want to place a mesh tote right there to carry bags of worms. But the smallest tote that I like is 6" in height. The foot pedal track gets in the way of it.

I could put the worms in my crate behind the seat, even a mesh carrier as I am describing mounted to the crate itself. But I want something in front of me easily accessible.

I was looking at this from ACK. This is very ideal, but again, the height stops it. And I'm not sure where else I can mount it so that it's not in the way.

What have you guys done for this? I'm definitely open to options. Again, not opposed to attaching it to the crate, but not ideal for me.

I don’t use mike crate on my yak either. I carry about 3 boxes, terminal tackle box, lures box and day box (what ever I plan to use that day) two of the box in front well, the day box under seat. I also carry a small plastic binder (fit about 7 bags of plastic) attached to my seat along with my dry bag. The so call fishfinder compartment, I have my scale, pliers, knife, spare dog leash and whistle stored. Everything else like net, anchor and my backpack stay in rear well. I was gonna glued a pieces of foam to hang my lure or hooks on those side wall don’t want it lay around on floor where you can step on it.

Oh don’t forget plastic fish grip, this help a lot with treble hook, unintended catch (catfish) and to be able to leave the catch in water when you prep the scale.

Minus a few things, your set up  sounds very similar to mine.  I still have a couple months to figure something out.

I thought of attaching a worm bag to the chair, but I also don't want to have clutter in front of the seat.  That will be my working area.

I did see a bag that actually attaches to the rail mounts.  They have the attachment accessories where they slide in to the track.  But again, the bag is still too tall.
